Meet the Trainers!

Will Cummins

Will brings a long list of successful coaching and playing experience including, but not limited to: professional play with Real Salt Lake (MLS), Utah Blitzz (USL, A –League), Riverside County Elite, San Diego Flash, and collegiate play with Santa Barbara City College and Azuza Pacific University. He has been involved as a coach with the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and has trained many players who now compete at the collegiate, national, and professional level. Will holds a USSF National C license, and is a certified personal trainer.

Erik Hufnagle

“Huf” is a former professional player (New Hampshire Phantoms, Utah Blitz, and in the Irish and Norwegian Premier Leagues). He graduated from Green Mountain College as a four-time All-American. As his playing days wound down, Huf turned his attention to coaching. He earned a Premier (highest) license from the National Soccer Coaches Association and his experience includes positions with Baldoyle United in Dublin, Ireland National Goal Keepers, McDonald's All-Star Camps, Kennett High School in New Hampshire, Green Mountain College, Park City Soccer Club, and Park City High School.

Ariel Partridge

Ariel is a former player with Colorado Rush/Chatfield High School/University of Northern Colorado/ODP Region IV/Colorado All-State/etc. She played on scholarship in college, semi-pro indoor and outdoor teams, and amateur leagues before an aging body and family commitments took over. Ariel has coached since she was 16 years old for a variety of ages, abilities, and environments – including, but not limited to, Colorado Rush Soccer Club, Chantilly Youth Soccer Association, Smyrna Soccer Club, Global Premier Soccer Georgia, SAE School, Wasatch High School, and Heber Valley Soccer Club. She currently holds a USSF National D license and is HVSC’s Director of Academy.

Isaac Smedley

Isaac, a home-grown soccer star, served as captain of Wasatch High School's and played with the state championship-winning team. He was awarded Utah All-State honors for several years and went on to play in college with Southern Virginia University. Since then he has coached with Wasatch High School Girls and HVSC, specializing in the female programs.
